Churn Stables

Churn Stables is a high class, purpose built training facility on the 2500 acre Churn Estate, situated to the south of the Oxfordshire village of Blewbury. A stones throw from the historic Ridgeway and surrounded by arable land and well established old grass gallops it makes for an idyllic and relaxed environment in which horses of all levels and temperament can train and flourish.

Originally built in by horseracing enthusiast and estate owner at that time Erik Penser, the stables were firstly home to trainer Gerrard Butler. Butler later moved his operation to Newmarket and the stables lay largely un inhabited until Penser sold the estate to Beeswax Farming in 2015.
